Care Requirement - Delicate, gentle cleaning 

Cleaning Guide - Felt should be cleaned every 2–4 weeks to maintain its appearance and prevent dust or debris from embedding in the fibres. Use a lint roller or a vacuum with a soft brush attachment on low power to gently remove surface dust and lint. For small stains, lightly blot the area with a damp cloth using mild soap and water, taking care not to rub the stain, as this can damage the fibres and push the stain deeper into the material. It is important to clean spills or marks as soon as they occur to prevent them from setting into the felt. 

Placement Guide - Felt products should be positioned in areas with medium, indirect sunlight only, as prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading and gradual deterioration of the fibres. These materials should be kept away from saltwater environments, as salt can damage the structure and finish of the felt. Maintain a moderate distance from heat sources such as heaters or fireplaces to prevent drying or distortion, and aim to keep the surrounding humidity at a moderate level to support the material’s stability. To ensure even wear and maintain the appearance of the felt, it is recommended to reposition items every 1–2 months. 

Deep Cleaning Guide - Felt products should be deep cleaned annually or as needed to maintain their texture and appearance. Use a fabric cleaner or wool shampoo specifically suitable for felt, testing the product on a hidden area first to ensure compatibility. Apply the cleaner gently using a soft brush, then remove any residue with a damp cloth. After cleaning, allow the felt to dry naturally, avoiding direct heat or forced drying. When caring for felt, avoid abrasive materials such as steel wool, and do not expose the material to solvents, oils, or petroleum-based products. DIY cleaning solutions like vinegar or baking soda should also be avoided, as they may damage the fibres. When addressing stains, blot gently rather than rubbing, as rubbing can distort and weaken the felt.
